IF YOU HAD A CHANCE TO COME FACE TO FACE WITH A CURRENT WORLD LEADER, WHAT WOULD YOU SAY?
Well, it depends on who the person is.

I’ve got a few I’d like to have a long chat with over some melktart & rooibos - Robert Mugabe, Jacob Zuma, Donald Trump, Yoweri Museveni, Reuven Rivlin. Just to say “What the fuck man?” Donald’s would most likely be accompanied by a punch in the throat on behalf of the rest of the world though.

WHAT’S STANDING BETWEEN YOU AND COMPLETE AND UTTER HAPPINESS?
Mostly myself really, but also time. I know I can achieve anything I want, and I have, however I don’t have much patience.

GIVE YOUR LIFE A MOVIE TITLE AND WHO WOULD BE BEST SUITED TO PLAY YOU AS THE LEAD CHARACTER?
“Be Nice” – A doccie on how far you can get by being a nice to each other. Staring & narrated by Morgan Freeman – He’s nice and wise. You can’t get far by being nice if you’re not wise.

Sidenote: I really hated scriptwriting in varsity so this could be a total flop.

IF YOU HAD TO DIE FOR SOMETHING YOU STOOD UP FOR, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
It’s crazy how we’re still fighting for what ‘should’ be basic human rights, especially on our continent, so being a woman, being LGBT, being Black, access to free education & healthcare. To answer the question, I’d die for everyday Africans to be treated better by their leaders.

DO YOU HAVE FAITH OR FEARS ABOUT YOUR FUTURE, THE FUTURE OF YOUR COUNTRY AND THE FUTURE OF THE WORLD?
I’m generally overly optimistic about most things, so I’d say faith across the board there. Either way, things always change very quickly.

I have faith in my future.

I’ve always had faith in South Africa.

The world – very unpredictable, but there are always little bursts that reignite your faith in people every now and again. Those are the moments I’m always on the look out for.
